Chip Kidd is an artist I admire. You might know him from his iconic work on the Jurassic Park book cover, or if your a comic book fan like me, he's designed quite a few batman covers.
The prompt of this project was to create three book covers inspired by an artist and their personal style. Kidd does not have a consistent style, not wanting to limit himself, but he does keep his covers relatively simple. Each cover represents something about Kidd, from his signature glasses to his past in comic books and one of my personal favorite designs of his.
